Jet Fuel Service is used for
airplanes with turbine engines, like jet engines and turboprops. There are
different types the main ones are:
Jet A is mostly used in the U.S. This fuel is developed to have a
higher freezing point than standard kerosene (-40° C).
Jet A1 is mostly used worldwide. This fuel is suitable for international
travel through different climates because it has a lower freezing point (-47°
C).
Jet B is primarily used in civil aviation. Also, it has a special low
freezing point of (-76° C), making it helpful in extremely cold areas.
Both Jet A and Jet A1 are used
interchangeably by flight operators.
